Street Medicine

at the University of Pittsburgh

est. 2021

Street Medicine at Pitt is a student-run interdisciplinary organization that strives to bring healthcare and social support to the rough-sleeping and unhoused community in Pittsburgh, PA. We value authentic, relationship-based care through interprofessional teamwork and a lens of health equity. We collaborate with students and faculty in schools including Public Health, Medicine, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS), Nursing, Dental, Pharmacy, and Social Work.

We are a part of the Street Medicine Institute Student Coalition, a group focused on bringing together street medicine programs run by students worldwide.
